Brown Wrapping Paper in Kenya

Brown kraft paper is made from unbleached sulphate pulp, which keeps the long fibres intact and gives it far higher tear resistance than white paper of the same weight. That strength is why it remains the default for parcels, void fill and protective wrapping.

Rolls or sheets

Rolls are more economical for continuous wrapping at a packing bench. Sheets are easier to handle for occasional parcels and for craft and school use.

Weights

60–80gsm suits light gift wrapping and void fill. 90–120gsm is the general packaging range. Above 150gsm the stock behaves like a board and is used for tags, carrier bags and rigid protection.
